Join us for MBC Film Night! An evening hosted by John O’Hurley to raise awareness for Metastatic Breast Cancer presented by the Swain Department of Nursing at The Citadel.  The night will consist of a double documentary feature, Marathons For Mom & Love Always, Mom, showcasing two powerful stories surrounding metastatic breast cancer, benefitting Racing for MBC & The Cyan Gray Hope Foundation.

Two documentaries, one incredible cause, and one emotionally moving night as we raise awareness for Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC).

In the first film, Marathons for Mom, one mother’s 6 year battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer inspires a son’s year-long journey of 6 marathons across the US. Marathons for Mom is a story of growth & survival, of finding hope through action.

“The hardships of running bring support from those around you pushing you to keep going – that is how you run a marathon, and that is how you fight cancer.” – Catherine Kresken

In the second film of the evening, Love Always, Mom, Tricia Russo documents her struggle to become a mother while battling MBC. With startling intimacy, Russo and her husband allow cameras to shoot not only meetings with doctors but the process of becoming parents. This is not just a film about fighting MBC, infertility, IVF, egg donation, and surrogacy, but a story of motherly love and a love letter to an unborn child.
